The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), led by Arvind Kejriwal, is out of power in the 2025 Delhi assembly elections. The Bharatiya Janata Party has won a stunning victory. The party has won 48 out of 70 seats. Meanwhile, AAP was successful in only 22 seats. Describing BJP’s victory as historic, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP. He wrote on X that congratulations and best wishes on the victory of the Bharatiya Janata Party in the Delhi Assembly elections with an overwhelming majority.

Earlier, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday appreciated Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said that the people of the national capital have expressed confidence in him. Addressing a press conference, he criticized the outgoing Aam Aadmi Party government and said that Delhi has become a city of garbage and has become completely polluted.
Naidu said that PM Modi is working with the ideology of ‘first people’ and focusing on a sustainable model for the development of the country. I appreciate and thank PM Modi for the victory in Delhi, where the residents have given a tremendous majority to the BJP. He said that after 27 years, the public chose the BJP government in Delhi. This is a historic victory because today this victory is not only for BJP or Delhiites but of the whole country.
He said, “Narendra Modi is preparing a sustainable model for the country. I honestly appreciate him. Today’s victory in Delhi shows people’s faith in Modi.” CM said that governance in Delhi is a failed model and it cannot be continued even further. He said that I am not criticizing people … (Delhi’s) The main roads are piles of garbage and the city has become completely polluted. Delhi has become the address of the most polluted places.
