Let us tell you that the Leader of Opposition in West Bengal Assembly Shubhendu Adhikari has said that on April 6, about 2,000 rallies of Ram Navami will be organized in West Bengal, which will include more than one crore Hindus. Shubhendu Adhikari called for permission from the administration not to take permission from the organizers of Ramnavami rallies during an event in his constituency Nandigram in East Medinipur district and said, “We do not need permission to worship Lord Rama.”
The Leader of the Opposition in the West Bengal Legislative Assembly said, “Around 50,000 Hindus participated in about 1,000 rallies of Ram Navami last year. This year, at least one crore Hindu will take to the streets across the state and take out 2,000 rallies on April 6. “BJP leader Shubhendu Adhikari said without naming a community,” Do not take any permission from the administration to take out rallies. We do not need permission to worship Lord Rama. We will be peaceful. However, it is the administration’s job to ensure that other people also live in a peaceful manner. ”Shubhendu Adhikari announced that by the end of this year, Ram temple will be constructed in Sonchura in their constituency. He has also alleged that there has been an incident of the idol fragmentation in his constituency. Shubhendu Adhikari said in a post on ‘X’, “The villagers of Kamalpur of Amadabad area of Nandigram II block were worshiping since last Tuesday. Pooja and Ram Narayan Kirtan continued peacefully. “He said,” A villager around midnight saw while returning home that the idols were broken. He informed the other villagers, who later gathered and saw the said act. ”The Leader of Opposition in the West Bengal Legislative Assembly urged the DGP to identify the culprits and bring them to the box as soon as possible. On the other hand, the ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC) and the opposition Marxist Communist Party (CPI -M) have targeted the Shubhendu Adhikari and accused him of indulging in the politics of ‘partition and religion’. West Bengal minister and senior TMC leader Firhad Hakim said, “The people of the state will not be affected by any rhetoric of BJP leaders like Shubhendu Adhikari. Everyone has the right to celebrate their religious customs and festivals in their own way. ”CPI-M leader Sujan Chakraborty said that Shubhendu Adhikari is not the patron of Hinduism in West Bengal. Sujan Chakraborty said that Ramnavami has never been a collective festival for Hindus in West Bengal. It is only BJP and TMC, who tried to make Ram Navami such a big festival in the state. Any person has to decide whether he wants to participate in a festival or not. He said that Shubhendu Adhikari is not the patron of Hinduism in the state.
