Siren played in Jammu for the second consecutive day, as Pakistan has started shelling in many areas of Jammu and Kashmir including Poonch and Uri. The blasts were heard in Jammu and the city also had lightning. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi presided over a high -level security meeting with the Chiefs of the Army, Navy and Air Force amid increasing tension. On Thursday, Pakistan targeted many areas of India including Jammu, Rajasthan and Punjab and carried out several attacks from missiles and drones. India successfully thwarted all the incoming threats.
Pakistani drone seen in Jammu
Pakistani drones are now seen in Jammu. Many blasts were heard in Jammu on Friday night and sirens started ringing a day after Pakistan’s mass drone attack. Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah tweeted, “From where I am, the sounds of intermittent blasts, perhaps the sounds of heavy cannons can be heard.”
Also in other tweets Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said My humble appeal to all the people around Jammu and it is that please do not leave the streets, stay at home or stay in a close place where you can stay comfortably for the next few hours. Do not pay attention to rumors, do not spread stories baseless or unmatched and we will all deal with it.
