Pahalgam Terror Attack | Amid tension with India, Pakistan declared a no-fly zone in Islamabad and Lahore till 2 May

Pakistan has put its army on high alert after India vowed to chase terrorists responsible for the Pahalgam attack. In the last four days, the Pakistani Army has fired at the Line of Control (LoC) without provocation, which the Indian Army has effectively responded. Apart from this, the Indian Navy shared many anti-ship firing scenes in the Arabian Sea on Sunday morning in view of the possibility of war between India and Pakistan after Kashmir’s Pahalgam terror attack and said they were ready for the war. The Navy shared scenes of launching BrahMos anti-ship and anti-surface cruise missiles from a fleet of warships including Kolkata category destructive and Nilgiri and Crucient category frigates.

Pakistan declared a no-fly zone in Islamabad, Lahore till 2 May
Pakistan has declared a no-fly zone in Islamabad, Lahore as the tension between India and Pakistan increased after the Pahalgam terror attack. No to Airmen (NOTAM) notice has been imposed in Islamabad and Lahore by 2 May, which means that no aircraft will be allowed to fly in the specified airspace. The decision to issue a notam notice for Islamabad and Lahore aircraft has been taken at a time when India vowed to retaliate against the recent terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir.

India planned a military attack within the next 24 to 36 hours
Pakistan Information Minister Ataullah Tarar claimed that his government had “reliable intelligence”, indicating that India is planning a military attack within the next 24 to 36 hours. The minister alleged that India is using “baseless and concocted” claims about Pakistan’s involvement in the Pahalgam incident to justify military invasion.
Earlier, Pakistan had shut down its airspace for all Indian airlines in view of India’s tough stance after the Pahalgam attack. India’s Civil Aviation Minister K Rammohan Naidu said on Monday that the government is assessing the situation arising out of the closure of Pakistan airspace and working on a solution with airlines.
