Pahalgam terror attack: NIA’s huge success, two people arrested for sheltering terrorists

Getting a major success in the case of Pahalgam terror attack, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested two people for sheltering terrorists who carried out a horrific attack in Pahalgam, a popular tourist destination in South Kashmir. 26 people were killed in this attack, most of whom were tourists and 16 others were seriously injured. The accused have been identified as Parvez Ahmed Jothar, a resident of Batkot in Pahalgam and Bashir Ahmed Jothar, a resident of Hill Park in Pahalgam.

According to the NIA, the arrested persons have revealed the identity of the three armed terrorists involved in the attack, and also confirmed that he was a Pakistani citizen associated with the banned terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba (LET). According to the NIA investigation, Parvez and Bashir intentionally gave shelter to three armed terrorists in a seasonal dhok (hut) in Hill Park before the attack. Both people had provided food, shelter and logistics assistance to the terrorists, who selected tourists on the basis of that unfortunate afternoon, on the basis of religious identity, making it the most horrific terrorist attack ever.
