Pakistan’s top political leader Bilawal Bhutto is unhappy with being elected as the leader of a delegation to present the country’s side of peace on the global stage.
After the Pahalgam terror attack and operation vermilion, India decided to send delegation to several countries and present the policy of zero tolerance against terrorism and its stance on the Pahalgam terrorist attack as well. Congress MP Shashi Tharoor is the most important name from India. After India, Pakistan has also created a similar delegation, which in the world will say that the mess is actually from Delhi. The Shahbaz Sharif government of Pakistan has chosen Bilawal Bhutto Zardari for this. But will Bilawal Bhutto be able to show influence like Shashi Tharoor to the leaders of the world. Pakistanis themselves suspect in this.
Pakistan’s top political leader Bilawal Bhutto is unhappy with being elected as the leader of a delegation to present the country’s side of peace on the global stage. According to top official sources, serious questions are being raised on Bilawal’s credibility and it seems impossible for him to match Shashi Tharoor’s legacy. Pakistani experts believe that it is not easy for Bilawal to stand in front of a veteran like Tharoor. During his tenure as Foreign Minister from 2022 to 2023, Bilawal failed to handle the growing tension with India. Their aggressive rhetoric, such as threatening bleeding on the Indus Water Treaty, is populous for global liberals. Such statements strengthen Pakistan’s notion of dependence on Pakistan’s own military and terrorist strategy.
In contrast, veteran MP and former UN Secretary-General Shashi Tharoor can effectively express India’s nuclear-use-use policy and maintain a balanced but firm stance. The Tharoor, who leads the Indian delegation of various parties under Operation Sindoor, reflect national unity. Pakistani-American Moid Pirzada says that 70-year-old Tharoor has had related to foreign policy experts from all over the world. He also knows the big personalities of the world privately and belongs to the people sitting in governments. Along with this, Tharoor was described as a ‘hawk of foreign policy’. He questioned Bilawal Bhutto as ‘imitatory monkey’ and questioned inexperience in his foreign policy.
