PM Modi calls Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, concerned about American attack and increasing stress in the Middle East

Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to Iran’s President Masood Page Seshakian on Sunday. Meanwhile, PM Modi discussed the US air strikes at three major nuclear sites in Iran. Expressing deep concern over the increasing stress in the Middle East, he called for immediate reduction in enmity. Significantly, the US has recently attacked these three nuclear centers in Iran and completely destroyed them, which has further increased the ongoing struggle in the region.
PM Modi wrote on X after the call, ‘We discussed in detail about the current situation. Expressed deep concern over the recent increase. Repeated our call for immediate decrease as a way to move forward, negotiating and diplomacy and asked for early restoration of regional peace, security and stability. ‘

Prime Minister Narendra Modi called the Iran’s three major nuclear installations – Fordo, Natanj and Isfahan, a few hours after the US bombing the Iran, Irani President Masood Pageshkian.
Meanwhile, US President Trump, in his address to the nation, described these attacks as ‘spectacular military success’. He also warned Iran that if he retaliated, more attacks would be carried out. Trump said that the primary goal of this mission was to destroy Iran’s nuclear enrichment capabilities and it has been achieved.
Reacting sharply to the US attacks, Iranian Foreign Minister Saeed Abbas Araghchi termed these actions as a serious violation of the International Law, United Nations Charter and Nuclear Non -Proliferation Treaty (NPT).
