Prime Minister Modi will meet President Donald Trump during his visit to America and hold a bilateral meeting with him. This will be the first official meeting between Modi and Trump during Trump’s second term as US President.
 
Expressing his curiosity to meet Trump, Modi said that he is “eager” to discuss this meeting and Indo-US relations. On X, he wrote, “I have reached Washington DC a while ago. I am eager to meet @Potus Donald Trump and to carry forward the Indo-US wide global strategic partners Will continue to work.
 
Modi will be one of the first world leaders to meet him after Trump’s swearing in as the 47th US President on 20 January.
