Prashant Kishor accused Nitish Kumar of backstabbing Muslims, also targeted CM Yogi

Ramgarh (Bihar). Jan Suraj founder Prashant Kishor on Sunday attacked Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, calling him “shameless” and alleged that Kumar has “stabbed in the back” of Muslims by allying with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
Kishor, a former political analyst and once close to Kumar, made this comment on the question of the Janata Dal United (JDU) supremo contacting the minority community to ensure victory in the by-elections on four assembly seats. Kishore said, ‘Yes, Nitish Kumar has done a lot for the Muslims by backstabbing them. He formed the government in 2015 with the overwhelming support of Muslims and formed an alliance again with the BJP two years later.

Kumar had made Kishor the national vice president of JDU but he was expelled from the party after differences over the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) became public. Kishor had accused the Bihar Chief Minister of ‘supporting a law that threatens to disenfranchise Muslims.’
The Jan Suraj founder said, ‘Muslims supported Nitish Kumar again when he came back to the grand alliance two years ago, but later they went back to the BJP-led NDA (National Democratic Alliance). Now his party is a partner in the central government. Its leaders are ministers in the Union Cabinet which has approved the controversial Waqf Bill. He claimed, ‘Nitish Kumar is a shameless person with whom the people of Bihar are angry and want him out of power.’
