Prime Minister Modi said in Mann Ki Baat, ‘Developed India Youth Leader Dialogue’ program will be organized in Delhi on 11-12 January.

New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Sunday that ‘Developed India Youth Leader Dialogue’ program will be organized in Delhi on January 11-12. Modi said the initiative is part of efforts to connect youth with no political background to politics. In the 116th episode of his monthly radio program ‘Mann Ki Baat’, Modi said that the 162nd birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda will be celebrated in a very special way on January 12. He said that ‘Developed India Youth Leaders Dialogue’ program will be organized at Bharat Mandapam in Delhi on 11-12 January.
The Prime Minister said, “I appealed from the ramparts of the Red Fort to such youth whose families do not have any political background to enter politics. Many special campaigns will be run in the country to connect one lakh such youth with politics. Vikas Bharat Yuva Neta Samvad is one such initiative.

Modi also praised the National Cadet Corps (NCC) and said, “The name of NCC reminds us of school and college days.” He said, “I have been an NCC cadet myself, so I have full confidence.” I can also say that the experience I got from this is invaluable for me. NCC inculcates the spirit of discipline, leadership and service in the youth.
During his radio programme, Modi also called on people to celebrate the inspiring stories of NRIs who have left their mark on the world stage, contributed to the freedom struggle and preserved “our heritage”. “Share such stories on ‘NaMo App’ or ‘MyGov’ with the hashtag ‘Pravasi Bharatiya Stories’,” he said.

Modi said the compassion and energy of India’s ‘youth power’ in helping senior citizens is commendable. In this context, he gave the example of a youth from Lucknow who helps the elderly in submitting the life certificate through digital medium.
