Prime Minister Narendra Modi took a dip in the confluence in Prayagraj on Wednesday in the world’s biggest festival of Mahakumbh. During this time he was wearing saffron colored clothes. He also had garlands of Rudraksha around his hands and neck. Amid the chanting, Modi alone took a dip in the confluence. The PM also offered Arghya to the Sun after bathing. Sun Puja performed by chanting the mantra for about 5 minutes. Ganga worshiped on Sangam Noj. Mother Ganga offered milk, climbing saree.
After bathing in Mahakumbh, Modi wrote on social media- I was blessed like crores by taking a dip in the holy confluence in Mahakumbh today. Mother Ganga should give immense peace, intelligence, harmony and good health to all. Modi reached Arail Ghat directly from the boat after Ganga Pujan. He left for Delhi from there. UP CM Yogi was also with him during Modi’s confluence bath.

Due to his arrival, devotees do not have problems in Mahakumbh, so the PM kept the program very limited. Due to the public flood, he returned without seeing Hanuman Temple, Akshay Vat. He stayed in Prayagraj for about two hours. During this time he did not meet anyone. Even both deputy CMs Keshav Maurya and Brajesh Pathak stayed at Bamrauli Airport. Modi’s aircraft reached Bamrauli Airport from Delhi at around 10.30 am. CM Yogi Adityanath welcomed here.
PM reached DPS Helipad by helicopter from the airport. From here his convoy reached VIP Ghat in Arail. From there reached Sangam with a boat with Yogi. The security of the fair was increased in view of the PM’s visit. Paramilitary forces were also deployed in the Sangam area. The PM has the second visit to Mahakumbh in 54 days. Earlier, he came here on 13 December.
