On Wednesday, Rajasthan Finance Minister and Deputy CM Dia Kumari presented the budget. In this budget released, announcements of Rs 975 crore have been made for promoting tourism and development works. So at the same time, the religious places in the tribal dominated area have been announced to develop a Tribal Tourist Circuit at a cost of 100 crores. In which many major sites including Chittorgarh district Matrukundia, Mangad Dham of Banswara district and Tripura Sundari, Gautameshwar Temple of Pratapgarh, Sita Mata Sanctuary, Rishabhdev of Udaipur district have been included.
A total announcement of Rs 975 crore
In the budget, various infrastructure development works worth Rs 975 crore have been announced for the development of religious tourist places. Under this, along with religious places in the state, historical and eco-tourism sites will also be developed.
Gavari Devi Kala Kendra
Establishment of Gavari Devi Kala Kendra for folk singers and musicians in Bikaner.
Jaipur Albert Hall Museum
25 crores will be spent for the development of Jaipur Albert Hall Museum.
Cultural festival will be held
To promote the tourism of the capital, the Kala Festival will be organized throughout the year at the Govinddevji temple, which will cost Rs 50 crore.
Travel mart’s important role
In view of the important role of travel mart in tourism and art, travel mart will be organized in Jaipur, Jodhapar and Udaipur.
Event and wedding tourism promoted
125 crore rupees will be spent for infrastructure development works to promote wedding and event tourism.
Hospitality and Tourism
In order to provide necessary skill upgradation facilities to the youth of the state in the field of hospitality, the hospitality skill center will cost Rs 35 crore.
Iconic destination
Several major sites including Jaisalmer Fort, Shergarh Fort of Baran, Amer of Jaipur and Nahargarh have been included for iconic destination, to promote heritage tourism.
Promotion of night tourism
Various programs will be organized on the major tourist destinations and heritage monuments of Jaipur, Udaipur Jaisalmer, Bharatpur, Bikaner, and Alwar to promote night tourism in the state. On which 100 crore rupees will be spent.
Major festivals like Deepawali, Holi and Ramnavami
13 crore rupees will be spent on 600 temples for organizing special decorations and Aarti programs on major festivals like Deepawali, Holi and Ramnavami. These announcements of the Rajasthan government will promote religious tourism, rather it will strengthen the local economy and increase the number of tourists.
