In fact, according to news agency ANI, BCCI vice -president Rajiv Shukla can hold the post as Executive Chairman in the month of July. Because BCCI’s current president Roger Binny’s birthday is on July 19 and he will turn 70 that day.
In such a situation, 65 -year -old Rajiv Shukla will be given the role of Executive Chairman for the first three months. The annual general meeting which will take place in the month of September will turn 66 in the month and he can again stand for the election of the Speaker.
At the same time, Rajiv Shukla will take over as an interim president until the BCCI gets a new president. Let me tell you that Roger Binny was made the chairman of BCCI in 2022. He became the 36th President of BCCI who replaced Sourav Ganguly.
