BJP candidate from Kalkaji, Ramesh Bidhuri has heated up the politics of Delhi by giving a controversial statement on Priyanka Gandhi Vadra. Congress and Aam Aadmi Party have criticized Bidhuri’s statement. Congress has demanded an apology from Bidhuri. Amidst all this, Bidhuri clarified her statement and also apologized.

Bidhuri apologized

Ramesh Bidhuri apologized in a post on X and wrote, ‘Some people are giving statements on social media for political gains out of misconception about the statement given by me in some context. I didn’t mean to insult anyone. But still, if any person has been hurt, I express my regret. Speaking to the media, he said, ‘If my comment has hurt anyone, I regret it and take back my words.’

What clarification was given on the statement?

Ramesh Bidhuri, while clarifying his statement, said, ‘Lalu Yadav, who was a minister in their (Congress) government, had said that he should first apologize for what he said about Hema Malini. I compared what I said with what I said earlier. Pawan Kheda should first apologize for what he said about the PM’s father.

Bidhuri clearly said that he is using the language of Congress to answer them. He said is Hema Malini not a woman? When two people make a mistake, both have to make amends. If Congress corrects its mistake, we will also do the same, this is hypocrisy, they have done nothing but corruption. Therefore they need some issue on which they can seek votes. That’s why they are blaming me.
