Mumbai Congress leader Randeep Surjewala on Sunday accused the ruling Mahayuti of plundering the skills and resources of Mumbai and Maharashtra and attacking democracy through defection. Addressing a press conference in Mumbai, All India Congress Committee (AICC) general secretary Surjewala hit out at the Mahayuti, an alliance of BJP, Shiv Shiv Sena and NCP, claiming that under its rule, dreaded criminals are being protected and notorious criminals are being punished. Is being encouraged.
Surjewala said, ‘The entertainment industry including Bollywood was openly threatened and leaders were murdered in broad daylight. Can this happen without the active or tacit connivance of those in power?’ He accused the ruling coalition of destroying the industrial revolution in Mumbai and Maharashtra, pushing new projects, investments and jobs out of the state.
Surjewala claimed that the skills and resources of Mumbai and Maharashtra are being plundered by proxy invaders in the form of the ruling grand alliance. He said that ‘inflation created by Mahayuti’ has made the lives of the people of the city and the state hell.
Surjewala alleged that the Lawrence Bishnoi gang is issuing death threats to Bollywood and leading actors and firing is being done at their residences. The Congress leader said former minister Baba Siddiqui was shot dead allegedly by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang in Bandra. He said that this case shocked the entire country and exposed the gun and goonda raj in Maharashtra.
