The BCCI on Tuesday announced the Indian Premier League 2025 playoff schedule. 70 Action Pack League- Playoff matches will be played in New Chandigarh after stage matches. Eliminator matches will be played here on May 29 and 30, including qualifier-1. Ahmedabad’s qualifier-2 and finals will be played.
Let us know that, Punjab Kings RCB and Gujarat Titans have already qualified for the playoffs. There will be a war for the final place between Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians. The match will be played between these two teams on Wednesday. If Delhi gets defeated at the hands of Mumbai, it will be out of the playoff race.
Let me tell you, Hyderabad and Kolkata had to host the final four matches before the tournament’s one week suspension. However, changes were made in the venue when the schedule was released again. The new places for the playoffs were decided by the IPL Governing Council keeping in mind the weather conditions and other parameters. Also, in view of the rain, two hours additional have been given for the match.
The 65th match of IPL has been shifted from Bangalore to Lucknow. RCB and Sunrisers Hyderabad will be face to face in this match. This match will be played at Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow due to bad weather conditions in Bengaluru. Similar to the playoffs, an additional hour will be given according to the sports position for the remaining matches of the league stage starting on Tuesday 20 May.
