Republic Day was also celebrated in Indian Missions abroad. The High Commission of India in Colombo celebrated the Republic Day in all its diplomatic offices in Sri Lanka. High Commissioner of India Santosh Jha unfurled the National flag at India House in Colombo this morning. Cultural performances added to the flavour of the celebrations thereafter.
Republic Day of India was celebrated in Dhaka, Bangladesh with enthusiasm and patriotic fervour at the High Commission of India. Members of the Indian community took part in large numbers in the celebrations at the Chancery building. Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Pranay Verma unfurled the national flag.
The Indian embassy in Japan celebrated Republic Day. Indian envoy Sibi George unfurled the national flag during the event. During the ceremony, the Envoy read the address of President Droupadi Murmu to the Nation. The Embassy also shared glimpses of the celebrations.

In Abu Dhabi, the Embassy of India and in Dubai, the Consulate General of India became focal points for the vibrant festivities, where members of the Indian community participated in large numbers. The Indian Embassy in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, has been lit up in tricolour to celebrate India’s Republic Day.
Indian Embassy in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, organised a photo exhibition on the making of the Constitution of India. The exhibition was displayed at Alisher Navoi National Library, Tashkent yesterday. During the exhibition, Indian Ambassador to Uzbekistan Manish Prabhat presented a copy of the Constitution of India in the Uzbek language.
