Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has arrived in West Bengal on a 10 -day visit for the organizational work of Mohan Bhagwat. It was informed by the RSS West Bengal unit on 5 February. A press conference organized by RSS Bengal General Secretary Jishnu Basu said that Mohan Bhagwat is about to discuss several rounds with Sangh workers and campaigners. According to the journey program, Bhagwat reached Kolkata on 6 February. After this, from 7 February to 10 February, he will stay in Keshav Bhavan in Kolkata and meet Sangh workers and senior union members.

On February 11 and 12, he will hold an important meeting with the central leadership of the Union at the All India Toli meeting of Kolkata. Then on 13 February, he will leave for Central Bengal, Burdwan. On 14 February, Bhagwat will inaugurate a new union office and will hold a meeting for all union workers at the Sai Complex in Burdwan’s Talait on 1 February. Basu said that our RSS family’s favorite person, friend, philosopher and guide Mohan Bhagwat will come here to meet all regional members.

Bhagwat’s meeting will be focused on operational success and increasing membership of RSS. Questioning whether there was any political purpose of Bhagwat’s visit to West Bengal in the 100th year of the organization and before the West Bengal assembly elections of 2026, senior members of the RSS said the journey was completely for organizational objectives.
