Sadhguru received the prestigious CIF Global Indian Award

Toronto Canada. Canada India Foundation (CIF) has announced the prestigious Global Indian Award for the year 2024. This time this award will be given to Sadhguru, the founder of Isha Foundation. Sadhguru will donate the amount of 50 thousand Canadian dollars received as award to ‘Kaveri Calling Society’. This organization works to revive the rivers in India.
This honor is given by the Canada India Foundation to those individuals of Indian origin who have left a deep impact at the global level. Sadhguru is making the entire world aware about tackling environmental challenges as well as advancing human consciousness.
Ritesh Malik, President of the Canada India Foundation, said, “We consider ourselves fortunate that Sadhguru has not only accepted the honor but has also agreed to attend the awards ceremony in Toronto.
He said that Sadhguru’s thoughts are inspiring for the entire mankind. He explains the ancient esoteric Indian spiritual knowledge to the common people in a very simple and clear manner.
 
He said that Sadhguru provides practical solutions for the complete personal development of an individual as well as long-term solutions to worldwide challenges such as soil erosion, climate change and food quality.

At the same time, Sadhguru has expressed his gratitude towards CIF for being selected for the award. Sadhguru dedicated the prize money of 50,000 Canadian dollars to Kaveri Calling. This organization is making great efforts to revive the rivers which are called the lifelines of India. It aims to revitalize the Kaveri River and significantly improve the economy of farmers by enabling them to plant 242 crore trees on private agricultural lands. Today, under this project, success has been achieved in planting 111 million trees.
