The relations between India and China seem to have frozen snow after five years. 
India and China have decided to resume the Kailash-Mansarovar Yatra in this summer.The development took place during the visit of Foreign Secretary Vikram Egyptian to China, and over three months after the negotiation to end the military deadlock over the Line of Actual Control (LAC) between the two countries.

India and China on Monday decided to resume the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra closed since 2020. The decision was taken in a meeting between Foreign Secretary Vikram Egypt and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi.

Both sides also agreed theoretically when they resumed direct flights. India and China also agreed to promote contact and facilitate people with people, especially between media and think tanks.
Foreign Ministry said  “Both sides reviewed the current mechanism for functional exchange. It was agreed to resume these dialogues in a phased manner and to use them to address each other’s interests and priority areas of concern.
