Pakistan fired missiles and 200 drones towards Gujarat during Operation Sindoor, but could not harm military establishments, soldiers or citizens as every attack in the neighboring country was failed by Indian forces. Pakistan fired missiles and 200 drones towards Gujarat during Operation Sindoor, but could not harm military establishments, soldiers or citizens as every attack in the neighboring country was failed by Indian forces. This information was given to Neshukarwar, a senior Border Security Force (BSF) officer.
Inspector General of Gujarat Frontier of BSF Abhishek Pathak said that Pakistan had also deployed tanks and heavy cannons along the border. He said that next time everything is being analyzed to improve our response. The BSF is watching the India-Pakistan border from Barmer in Rajasthan to Kutch district of Gujarat.
Addressing a press conference in Gandhinagar on the role of BSF during Operation Sindoor, Pathak said, “Out of about 600 drones sent by Pakistan to our border from Rajasthan to Kutch, about 40 percent (200 drones) entered Gujarat.” However, we thwarted the attack with the help of Army and Indian Air Force. Neither our forces nor the common people suffered any loss. Some of these drones were killed.
The 2025 Pahalgam attack was a terrorist attack on tourists by five armed terrorists near Pahalgam in Indian -administered Jammu and Kashmir, killing 26 civilians on 22 April 2025. The terrorists mainly targeted Hindu tourists, although a Christian tourist and a local Muslim were also killed.
