The battle for Maharashtra Assembly elections has reached its final stage. As per the announcement of the Election Commission, voting will be held in the entire state on November 20. For the last many years, only Patil surname has always been dominant in this assembly seat. At present Shiv Sena’s Chimanrao Patil is the MLA from this seat. Earlier this seat was with NCP’s Annasaheb Dr. Satish Bhaskarrao Patil. Even before him, this seat was held by Gulab Raghunath Patil of Shiv Sena. Gulab Raghunath Patil won this assembly seat in 1999 and 2004.
2019 election results
If we talk about the last assembly elections, during the elections, Shiv Sena’s Chimanrao Patil from SHS had contested from Erandol seat. In front of him, Annasaheb Dr. Satish Bhaskarrao Patil of NCP, who had a good hold on this seat, was in the fray. In this election, Chimanrao got a total of 82650 votes while his nearest rival Dr. Satish got 64648 votes. Apart from these, independent candidate Shirole Govind Eknath stood at third position. He got 24587 votes in this election. Chimanrao Patil of Shiv Sena SHS defeated Dr. Satish of NCP by 18002 votes.

From the beginning till now, Patil has been speaking for the community on Erandol assembly seat. If we talk about caste equations here, only Patil community is around 33 percent. After this, the Muslim community is at second place. There are about nine and a half percent Muslim voters in this assembly seat. After these, voters from Bhil and Mahajan communities come to this seat.

Erandol Assembly seat was won by Shiv Sena’s Chiman Roopchand Patil in 2019, Dr. Satish Bhaskar Patil from NCP in 2014, before that Shiv Sena’s Gulab Raghunath Patil in 1999, 2004 and Shiv Sena’s Chiman Roopchand Patil in 2009.
This time in the assembly elections, Shiv Sena is fielding Amol Chiman Patil and NCP is fielding Dr. Satish Bhaskar Patil from SP. There is a tough competition between the two. 46-year-old Amol Patil’s father’s name is Chimanrao Patil, who has previously been an MLA from this seat. His residence is Sakshi Building Gajanan Housing Society, Parola District Jalgaon. Amol’s wife’s name is Mrinal Patil. His wife does the job and housework. Amol’s profession is trading and farming.
