Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan held an important meeting with farmer organizations on the issue of ban on Indus Water Treaty. After the meeting, Shivraj Singh Chauhan said that the incidents in the last few days have shaken all of us. Innocent people were asked their religion and killed. The whole country was upset and there was anger in every heart. We do not tease anyone. But this is India, if someone teases us, we do not even leave it.
Shivraj Singh Chauhan further said that the Prime Minister gave open exemption to the armed forces. The armed forces decided that this is India, we will not kill all. You must have heard Defense Minister Rajnath Singh saying, ‘Joe Mohi Mara Te Main Mare’. Therefore, terrorists and their camps were targeted. All terrorist bases were destroyed. We did not attack Pakistan directly, our fight was against terrorists but Pakistan did not accept it. It was started by Pakistan. He felt that India would be scared of drones and missiles of Türkiye and China.
He said that we are proud of our armed forces, I bow before their valor. He killed him (Pakistan’s) drones and missiles like toys. Children from Punjab and other states are playing with their debris. Pakistan succumbed in three days. But decisive decisions were taken. The PM decided that blood and water could not flow together. A historic decision was taken, the Indus Water Treaty was suspended. This is not a simple thing.
