Aam Aadmi Party suffered a major setback before the assembly elections in Delhi. The manner in which Delhi Government Chief Minister Kailash Gehlot has resigned from his post and primary membership citing various issues like non-fulfillment of election promises is a direct hit to the image of Arvind Kejriwal. By saying that instead of the development of Delhi, the AAP government spends all its time in quarreling with the central government, Gehlot has exposed a major weakness of the Aam Aadmi Party, which is a sign of a big political crisis for AAP. Arvind Kejriwal formed this party by starting a big movement against corruption with social activist Anna Hazare, but he himself and other big leaders went to jail on corruption charges, due to many differences, controversies and Kejriwal’s ego, wrong Due to the policies, many senior leaders of the party moved away from the party, which include names like Kiran Bedi, Kavi Kumar Vishwas, Ashutosh, Ashish Khaitan, Shanti Bhushan, Prashant Bhushan, Yogendra Yadav, Shazia Ilmi and Kapil Mishra and now Kailash Gehlot. . It seems that now not only the mango broom, but also your political values have been ruined. Due to the increasing crisis of Aam Aadmi Party and falling political values, its challenges are not ending.
Kailash Gehlot has sent his resignation to the party’s national president Arvind Kejriwal and Delhi CM Atishi. Delhi CM Atishi has accepted Gehlot’s resignation. Gehlot has sent a long letter to Kejriwal resigning from his post and primary membership of the party. In his resignation letter, he has raised the issue of cleaning Yamuna and construction of Sheeshmahal. Gehlot has alleged in the letter that the honest politics due to which he came to Aam Aadmi Party is no longer happening. He has also made many allegations, terming the official residence of party convenor and former CM Arvind Kejriwal as Sheeshmahal. This fate and remoteness of this party, which was born from the historical anti-corruption movement, is the result of political ambition. The Aam Aadmi Party may have claimed to hold itself to the highest standards of integrity, but it has misused power and destroyed political and moral values. The rise of AAP was a breath of fresh air but today it has become synonymous with corrupt politics.

Kailash Gehlot’s resignation before the Delhi Assembly elections marks the countdown for the Aam Aadmi Party, it is politically damaging, because Gehlot, on the one hand, said that the Aam Aadmi Party government could not clean the Yamuna and the situation is It’s that she has become dirtier than before. Apart from this, he also underlined that the AAP government spends all its time in quarreling with the central government. Even though ‘AAP’ can reject these words of Kailash Gehlot by saying that he is speaking the language of BJP and it can also be said that Gehlot was under pressure from ED-CBI etc. Certainly, many ED and Income Tax cases were pending against Gehlot. Several ED and Income Tax raids had also been conducted on Kailash Gehlot. He was facing investigation. There may be some truth in your statements that he had no other option but to resign. But the big fact is that AAP has not been able to do justice to the people of Delhi, it is known for picking fights with the central government. There is no denying that the Central Government also seems to be entangled with the Aam Aadmi Party, but the image of the Delhi Government has become such that it keeps looking for opportunities to blame the Central Government. The people of Delhi have suffered the most due to the continuing tussle between Delhi and the Central Government on every issue. AAP leaders have always blamed the Central Government and BJP for not solving many of Delhi’s problems, for not achieving expected development and for not fulfilling their election promises. Gehlot said that the purpose of his visit to the party was to serve the people of Delhi, but now he realized that the party was fighting only for its political agenda, thereby creating difficulties in providing basic services to Delhiites. In such a situation, he had no other option but to separate from the party.
AAP remained busy in confrontational politics and kept losing track of good governance and better politics. The party raised innumerable issues in Delhi but could not take them to the final destination. Only the future will tell whether Kailash Gehlot’s resignation will be politically costly for the Aam Aadmi Party or not, but there is no doubt that the way he mentioned the wrong policies of AAP and the extreme ambitions of Kejriwal in his resignation. This is going to give a huge blow to the credibility of Arvind Kejriwal as well as the entire Aam Aadmi Party. It is a fact that till date the Aam Aadmi Party has not been able to give any satisfactory answer to the question that why did Arvind Kejriwal need to spend Rs 45 crore on the decoration of his official residence when he was the Chief Minister? Kailash Gehlot has also alleged in his letter that AAP has deviated from its customs and policies. Kejriwal and his allies are not going to agree with this, but there is no doubt that AAP’s image as an anti-corruption political party has been greatly eroded. If all the claims made by ‘AAP’ about doing a new type of politics based on values have started appearing hollow, then Arvind Kejriwal and his associates cannot hold anyone else responsible for this. A big question is that due to this plight of AAP, will it be able to maintain its strong hold on Delhi? Have the chances of BJP or other parties coming to power in Delhi now increased?
It is not too late for AAP and its government, it needs to set priority among public issues. Implement your agenda while avoiding unnecessary conflicts. Provide good governance where it is in power and be a more constructive and resistant force where it is in opposition. A big issue is to strengthen the leadership and organizational structure in a democratic manner. Till now the entire party is Arvind Kejriwal-centric, it may have become a party but its organizational structure is like that of an NGO, which has an all-powerful director and the entire organization runs on his instructions and mercy. This is the reason why many prominent AAP leaders have been leaving the party. If ‘AAP’ has to influence people for a long time with its consistent politics in the capital Delhi or outside it, then it will have to show equality in words and actions. You have to remove your hypocrisy. Even after searching for the truth in your life, it is not found. Due to adopting double standards, every policy, every decision and every statement of ‘AAP’ has been creating more problems than solutions. Living communities do not wait for five years, the people of Delhi have waited many times longer. This is not a contradiction, is it misfortune or should we say tolerance? Which also has a limit. Which, when heated like water, becomes steam power at 50 degrees Celsius. From:-
