There is political turmoil in Jharkhand regarding the second phase of assembly elections. The first phase of voting in the state has been completed on November 13. Now the second phase of voting is to be held on November 20. Elections are to be held on 38 seats during the second phase of voting. If we talk about the VIP seats of the state, the name of Silli assembly seat is included in them. There is mainly competition between two political parties on this seat.
There is a fight between two parties
The main fight is between All Jharkhand Students Union and JMM on Silli assembly seat of Jharkhand. ASJU party is contesting the elections in the state in alliance with the NDA alliance. Whereas JMM is contesting the elections in alliance with India Alliance.

Former Deputy CM of the state
In the year 2009, Sudesh Mahato took over the charge of Deputy Chief Minister of the state. During that time the Chief Minister of Jharkhand was Arjun Munda. Sudesh Mahato is a big name in state politics. Earlier, he had won from this seat in the year 2019.
Amit Mahato in the election field
This time JMM has fielded Amit Mahato to compete with Sudesh Mahato. Amit Mahato has been MLA from Silli assembly seat. He defeated Sudesh Mahato in the 2014 assembly elections. In such a situation, once again both the candidates are face to face from this seat.
Sudesh Mahato had won in 2019
Let us tell you that in the 2019 assembly elections, Sudesh Mahato of ASJU had defeated Seema Devi of JMM. Sudesh Mahato got 83,700 votes in this election. Whereas JMM candidate Seema Devi got 63,505 votes.
