Shafali has not scored an ODI half-century since scoring an unbeaten 71 against Sri Lanka in July 2022. Last month New Zealand was defeated by 2.0 in Ahmedabad. Uma Chhetri, D Hemalatha, Shreyanka Patil and Sayli Satghare, who were part of the team which lost by 1 match, have also not got a place in the team. Harleen Deol, Richa Ghosh, Minnu Mani, Titas Sadhu and Priya Poonia have returned. The first ODI will be played in Brisbane on December 5 and the second on December 8, while the third match will be played in Perth on December 11.
