A teacher has been arrested by the police on charges of sexual harassment of a minor student (16) in a school in the town of Budhana police station area of Muzaffarnagar district. A police officer gave this information on Thursday.
Police Officer (CO) Gajendra Pal Singh told reporters here that the police have registered a case against private school teacher Shahzad (35) Section 74 (attacked her with the intention of insulting women), 75 (sexual harassment), 351 (criminal intimidation) and protection of children from sexual offenses (Poxo) and arrested him on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, the school -deployed school has also been sealed by the Education Department. According to Basic Education Officer (BSA), the school has been sealed due to irregularities.
Orders have been ordered to investigate irregularities in the school. The school was approved up to class VIII, but it also conducted classes of ninth and tenth.
According to a complaint lodged by the police, a 16 -year -old victim of ninth grade, she went to school to get the result, where the school teacher Shahzad sexually abused her and threatened to kill her for telling someone. Later, his parents were told the whole thing. On the information of the case, Hindu workers gathered outside the school and demanded strict action against the accused.
