Tennis star Rafael Nadal becomes brand ambassador for Infosys
Infosys has signed tennis star Rafael Nadal as its brand ambassador. The company has entered into a three-year partnership with Nadal. Infosys has been the technology partner of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) since the year 2015. The company is claimed to be instrumental in supporting ATP’s development of key digital assets and infrastructure, including ATP PlayerZone, ATP Stats Leaderboards, ATP Second Screen, and the ATP app. In November 2020, ATP announced the renewal of their partnership for a further three years. As per the agreement, Infosys continues as Global Technology Services Partner and Digital Innovation Partner of the ATP, through 2023.
What is the partnership about
This is reportedly the first time that Nadal has collaborated with a software services company. As per the partnership, Infosys and Nadal’s coaching team will be developing an AI-powered match analysis tool. This personalized tool will debut at Roland-Garros 2023. It will be available in real time to Nadal’s coaching team to track insights from his games by studying live matches and historical data simultaneously.

Spanish star Nadal has held a joint-record of 22 grand slam titles throughout his career ever since he turned pro in 2001.
