In view of the huge crowd of devotees at Prayagraj Mahakumbh, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held an important meeting with police and administrative officials late on Monday night. In this meeting, he discussed the necessary arrangements for the safety and convenience of the devotees.
 
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reviewed the preparations for the Amrit bath to be held on the occasion of Maghi Purnima at Prayagraj Mahakumbh. He reviewed the arrangements made for security, sanitation and convenience of passengers in the meeting with the officials. There will be a fifth bath of Maghi Purnima on 12 February in Mahakumbh. In view of this, the Chief Minister has ordered to implement special scheme for better traffic management and congestion control.
 
The government has said that in a meeting held through video conferencing late Monday night, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given a detailed review of the preparations for Mahakumbh. During this, he gave necessary instructions to the officers and asked to make the preparations stronger. Guidelines for security and arrangement have been issued to senior police officers and administrative officers of several districts of Uttar Pradesh during Mahakumbh. These districts include Prayagraj, Kanpur, Varanasi, Ayodhya and Lucknow.
 
Number of devotees coming to Kumbh is increasing
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the number of devotees coming to Prayagraj has increased last week. A large number of private vehicles have also come along with public transport. This number can increase more on bathing festival. During this time, it has been said to implement the plan to manage traffic and crowds to ensure that security is good. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has instructed the officials to take strict action against those who spread misleading or misinformation. He has said that the public should be ensured immediately giving accurate information, so that any confusion or nervousness can be stopped.
 
‘Women and children should cooperate’
The Chief Minister has directed that the parking capacity of more than 5 lakh vehicles should be fully used in Mahakumbh. Also, he has also said that no vehicle should be allowed to enter the fair premises by violating the rules. The children, women and the elderly coming to the fair area will be fully supported. Shuttle buses will be used if needed. Their number will increase. The parking system is also motivated to follow. The Chief Minister has instructed the officials that a long line of vehicles should not be installed on the roads.
