Two people arrested for robbing constable motorcycle in North Delhi

Two people who robbed a motorcycle on a gun from a police constable were injured in a police encounter in Wazirabad, North Delhi. According to the police, the incident occurred on 26 February when Constable Dinesh and Sandeep Outer were patrolling motorcycles on Ring Road.

Officials said they chased the car coming at a high speed near the Mukundpur flyover and managed to stop it, and asked three people aboard the vehicle to be investigated. He said that however, the three accused fled in different directions instead of obeying the matter.

According to the police, Dinesh chased and rode on a motorcycle and caught one of them. Officials said that while trying to control the suspect, another person threatened Dinesh’s head and threatened him and asked him to leave his partner.

According to the police, Dinesh obeyed him and the suspect left his car and fled on a motorcycle. On searching the vehicle, two knives and a desi pistol were recovered from it.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (North) Raja Bantia said, “The unclaimed car was registered in the name of Salman, a resident of Laxmi Nagar. Salman was caught from Sonepat in Haryana and during interrogation, he revealed that a person named Kishan had bought a car in his name and pressured him to file a false report of the car theft.

The official said that Kishan was revealed to be in Gharaunda in Karnal, Haryana, but his phone was closed. He said that investigators finally detected Kishan’s location and laid a trap near Tara Chowk in Gandhi Vihar in Timarpur.

According to the police, two people riding on the motorcycle were seen and they were gestured to stop, but they tried to escape. During this time his motorcycle slipped and the suspects tried to run on foot.

The official said the suspects opened fire on the police, in which a bullet hit the policeman’s bulletproof jacket. He said that in response, the police also fired, in which both the suspects were shot in the leg. According to the police, these people were identified as Intezer Qureshi (46) and Kishan (31). Both have a criminal record.
