The main opposition party Samajwadi Party (SP) chief in Uttar Pradesh, Akhilesh Yadav, promised on the occasion of International Women’s Day on Saturday that if his government comes to power in the state in 2027 elections, he will launch a ‘female honor-prosperity scheme’.
On International Women’s Day, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati advised the government to fulfill the responsibility of women’s safety with full honesty. Mayawati wrote on the social media forum ‘X’, “The governments of the Center and all the states on International Women’s Day, showing full sensitivity, do not take any care and negligence in the matter of women’s empowerment as well as their safety and respect, but fulfill their responsibility with full honesty.”
He said, “On this occasion, the government and society should give up inferiority complex and exploitative attitude towards the working women related to crores of poor, laborers, Dalits, Dalits, exploited and backward classes of the country and pledge to guarantee the right to live with self-respect and self-respect.”
Akhilesh Yadav also congratulated the International Women’s Day through ‘X’ and said, “We will bring ‘female respect-prosperity scheme’ in 2027 and will make every girl, woman, woman strong.”
Later, according to a statement issued by the SP headquarters, Akhilesh Yadav said that the Samajwadi Party always preferred women’s honor, women’s safety and women’s education and important schemes for the upliftment and safety of women in its governments were introduced.
According to the statement, Yadav said that the women’s honor prosperity scheme will be started in 2027 if his party’s government is formed in the state. He said, “Under this scheme, money will be sent directly to the account of women. Women and women will be given mobiles. Laptops will be given to talented girl students.
