According to the standards of several global institutions including ICC, a two -storey stadium will be constructed in it. It will have seven main pitch and it will have a capacity of 30 thousand spectators. At present, international cricket matches are organized in the stadium in Kanpur and Lucknow, while the International Cricket Stadium under construction in Varanasi is also being completed rapidly.

In the dream projects of CM Yogi Adityanath, the process of construction and development works of a Gorakhpur International Cricket Stadium has also started on the ground. A detailed account in this subject has been prepared by the Planning Department. According to the action plan, construction and development works will be completed in 18 months on 50 acres of land in Tal Nadore of Gorakhpur.
