Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday launched the Surat Food Safety Saturation Campaign and distributed benefits to the eligible beneficiaries under the National Food Security Act (NFSA). According to a press release, as part of this initiative, the Prime Minister distributed benefits to about 2 lakh eligible beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Ann Yojana (PMGAY). The objective of this initiative is to ensure comprehensive food safety coverage, which strengthens the government’s commitment to provide necessary food grains to the underprivileged.

Modi said during this time that Surat is a leading city of Gujarat in many cases. Surat is going ahead in providing protection of food and nutrition to the poor today. The food safety, fullness campaign that has been launched here today, will also be an inspiration for other people. This perfection campaign ensures- ‘There is no discrimination, no one is left, no one is angry nor anyone is cheated’. It except the spirit of appeasement leads to the sacred sense of satisfaction. When the government is going to the beneficiary’s door, then how will someone be left… and when no one will be left, then how will anyone get angry. When thinking that we have to benefit everyone, then the cheating people run away.
Narendra Modi said that nutritious food has a big role in a visit to developed India. Our goal is to provide adequate nutrition to every family of the country so that the country can be free from big problems like malnutrition and anemia. He said that today, some of the largest organizations around the world accept that Swachh Bharat Abhiyan has helped reduce diseases in villages. Every household campaign, which ensures access to clean water, has also played an important role in reducing diseases.
He said that earlier a ration card of one place did not run in another place. We solved this problem. We implemented One Nation One Ration Card. Now, no matter what the ration card is, the beneficiary gets its benefit in every city of the country. Modi said that in the last decade, we worked on mission mode to empower the poor in the whole country. A security shield was made around the poor so that he would not have to spread his hand in front of anyone. Be sure to be a house, toilet, gas connection, tap connection … This gave the poor a new confidence.
The Prime Minister said that a security shield of insurance was given to the poor family. For the first time, about 60 crore Indians ensured free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh. Apart from this, our government also gave the security shield of insurance to the poor, lower middle class. Today, more than 36 crore people in the country are associated with government insurance schemes and so far more than Rs 16,000 crore has been given to these families as claims. He shouted and said that Modi will guarantee every poor.

Modi said that the middle class has a huge contribution in the development of the country. Therefore, in the last decade, the government has taken several steps to empower the middle class.
