Former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was allegedly attacked during a rally in the national capital on Friday. AAP alleged that this attack was carried out by BJP through its goons. The party also blamed the police and said that Delhi Police did not stop the BJP goons. AAP leader Manish Sisodia said on social media that the attack on Arvind Kejriwal is extremely condemnable and worrying. He alleged that BJP had carried out this attack through its goons.

Delhi Chief Minister Atishi, while addressing a press conference, said that the people of Delhi have seen to what extent BJP’s dirty politics can stoop. He said, “Arvind Kejriwal was attacked by BJP goons during Vikaspuri Padayatra. BJP knows that it cannot defeat AAP and Arvind Kejriwal in the elections, hence they have resorted to such dirty politics and want to kill Arvind Kejriwal. ” He clearly said that if anything happens to Kejriwal, BJP will be responsible for it.
At the same time, Saurabh Bhardwaj further said that Arvind Kejriwal was marching in Vikaspuri area and meeting people there. I think BJP is not able to digest the love and blessings that Arvind Kejriwal is getting from the people. Today people associated with BJP have tried to attack Arvind Kejriwal. Earlier too, attempts have been made to hurt Arvind Kejriwal. While he was in prison, his insulin was discontinued, and an attempt was made to assassinate him.

BJP’s denial
Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva refuted the claim and said that there has been no attack on Arvind Kejriwal anywhere, as it is the public opposition which is gradually increasing since the beginning of the election campaign. Virendra Sachdeva said that Arvind Kejriwal, Aam Aadmi Party and their MLAs are surrounded by a huge anti-incumbency wave. He said that the people of Delhi, fed up with the poor condition of the city as well as the corruption of AAP MLAs and councilors, are now taking to the streets to protest against Arvind Kejriwal. On the other hand, Delhi Police denied this claim and said that there was no attack on former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, nothing was thrown at him nor was there any assault on him.
