The first match of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 is being played between host country Pakistan and New Zealand. In this match New Zealand opener Will Young Champions Trophy The first century of has hit. Young showed the stars to Pakistan bowlers during the day on Wednesday. He firmly took over one end at the National Stadium in Karachi and scored an innings of 104 runs. He hit 12 fours and a six after facing 113 balls. This is the fourth century of his ODI career. Young did a wonders of scoring a century in an ICC competition for the first time.

Young, 32, has entered the special club of veteran batsman Kane Williamson. He has become the fourth player of New Zealand to score a century in the Champions Trophy. Williamson scored 100 runs against Australia in the Champions Trophy held in 2017. Former Kiwi player Chris Cairns scored an unbeaten 102 against India in the tournament in 2000. Former New Zealand cricketer Nathan Estal scored an unbeaten 145 in front of the US in 2004.
