Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is expected to discuss comprehensive development initiatives targeting statewide development with cabinet ministers. In the backdrop of the Kumbh Mela, which runs till February 26, these discussions could lead to important infrastructure decisions for Prayagraj and beyond.

The Uttar Pradesh government is planning an important cabinet meeting on January 22 on the occasion of Maha Kumbh, a large-scale religious event to be held in Prayagraj. This meeting will be held in Prayagraj under the leadership of Yogi Adityanath.

It is being told that before the meeting the Chief Minister may also take a dip in the Sangam. In the Mahakumbh organized in Prayagraj, within just six days, more than seven crore devotees, Kalpavasis and revered sages and saints have taken a dip of faith in the Triveni Sangam and according to an official statement, the Uttar Pradesh government estimates that this time a total of 45 crore people will participate in the Mahakumbh. More people will come. The security of such a large number of devotees may be a big challenge for the Mahakumbh Police, but the Integrated Command and Control Center (ICCC) established in the fair area is proving to be a boon in terms of crowd management.

Through this, not only is it helping in controlling the huge crowd of devotees coming to the fair area but it is also helping in many types of surveillance. ICCC played an important role in systematically controlling the huge crowd on the Paush Purnima Snan festival on the first day of Maha Kumbh and Amrit Snan on Makar Sankranti. ICCC in-charge SP Amit Kumar said that 2750 cameras have been installed here, through which not only the fair area but the entire city area is being monitored. Monitoring is being done from three angles, first is security, second is management and third is crime.
