Ahwan allegedly helped in arranging for his stay and introduced him to Pakistani officials Shakir and Rana Shahbaz. The Hisar Police spokesman said, “Danish was developing her as a property. She was in touch with other YouTube influential people.”

33 -year -old Jyoti Malhotra, who has more than 100,000 followers on Instagram and 3.87 lakh subscribers on YouTube, allegedly visited Pakistan twice. During one such visit, she came in contact with an official of the Pakistan High Commission in Delhi. His conversation raised suspicion, which led to the National Investigation Agency (NIA) and the Intelligence Bureau (IB).
 
Jyoti Malhotra has been charged under Section 3 and 5 of the Government Security Act and Section 152 of the Justice of India Justice Act. He is one of the 12 people arrested in Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh on charges of espionage in the last two weeks. Police believe that the case may be part of a large espionage network associated with Pakistan in North India.
