The Eighth Indian Ocean Conference (IOC 2025) is scheduled to be held in Muscat on 16–17 February. The conference, organized by the New Delhi -based Research Institute ‘India Foundation’ in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Foreign Foreign Foreign Foreign Dialogue, serves as a major platform for regional dialogue. According to the news of the ‘Prothom Alo’ newspaper, the meeting between the two leaders is scheduled during the conference. It has been said in the news that last month, External Affairs Minister Jaishankar invited Bangladesh’s foreign advisor to attend the conference. If there is a proposed meeting between Hussain and Jaishankar, this will be the second round of their talks in five months. Hussain and Jaishankar first met in New York during the United Nations General Assembly session last year. In August last year, Sheikh Hasina resigned as Prime Minister due to large -scale anti -government protests and moved to India. After this, the relations between the two countries became quite tense.
