Talking to the media, Thackeray said that due to the monsoon season approaching, the work of repairing roads is being done very late and poorly. Highlighting the poor condition of the roads, Thackeray said that I had predicted that people would face problems due to the agency. This is now coming true. Aditya Thackeray further said that the monsoon is coming, but the work of concrete is going on. It seems that we are standing on the moon. This road is built 15 days ago. Its quality is poor. The agency has started work to collect only money.

He expressed disappointment over the lack of accountability towards the contractors and questioned when the officials would take action against them for their inferior work. He said, “When will action be taken against the agency … When will the action be taken against the contractors? The drain is not cleared, but the treasure has been cleared.” The MLA also expressed concern over the status of the rivers of the city and described the pois and sweet rivers as an example of ignoring the environment. He urged, “A picture of the poisic river has come out. The sweet river is also dirty. The Municipal Corporation should meet in this regard before the monsoon.”
