The next year the T20 World Cup will be hosted in the hands of India and Sri Lanka. In which a total of 20 teams will participate. So far, a total of 13 teams have qualified for the World Cup. At the same time, a new team has been entered by Canada. The Canadian team has qualified for the World Cup by winning the Americas Regional Final.
Let me tell you that India and Sri Lanka have taken entry into the Direct World Cup tournament as hosts. Finish teams in the Top-8 of the 2024 T20 World Cup were directly entered in the 2026 World Cup. Apart from India, Australia, England, USA, Afghanistan, West Indies, Bangladesh and South Africa reached the Super-8 stage in the last season. After them, the next three teams in rankings will qualify for the World Cup.
The remaining 8 teams will get qualification based on regional qualifiers. Based on regional qualifiers, 2 teams from Africa, 3 teams Asia and East Asia-Pacific region, 2 teams will qualify with the Euro and one team from the US sector.

India, Sri Lanka, Australia, England, West Indies, Afghanistan, USA, Ireland, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa, Bangladesh and Canada.
