80 body builders attended the party with fitness influencer rohit dalal

With Delhi Assembly elections round the corner, fitness influencers Rohit Dalal and Akshay Dilawari, along with 70-80 other sportspersons, including wrestlers and bodybuilders, joined the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) at the party’s head office in Rouse Avenue on Thursday. Party convenor Arvind Kejriwal welcomed him. Arvind Kejriwal said that he has worked to keep people fit and has represented India at the international level in wrestling and sports. He said that once his party forms the government in Delhi, it will work to resolve the issues faced by the players. He also mentioned the formation of a gymnasium association and announced that many other gym owners would join the party in the coming days.

Praising both Rohit Dalal and Akshay Dilawari as prominent names in the fitness sector that have brought India recognition on the international stage, Arvind Kejriwal emphasized that many youngsters will be inspired by them. Rohit Dalal appreciated the party’s initiatives like free yoga classes and support for sports development, which inspired him to join it. He said that the work done for the players and the gym is commendable. I want to contribute to this mission. Former cricketer Tilakraj, who joined the party along with Rohit Dalal and Akshay Dilawari, expressed optimism about the increasing involvement of the sports fraternity in politics.

He said that many players from Delhi are planning to join us. We are committed to work hard and strengthen the party. Recently Delhi government has focused on promoting players in many disciplines. Earlier this week, Indian gold-winning Olympiad chess player Tania Sachdev criticized the Delhi government for the lack of recognition of the sport in the state.
