Congress believes in looting the state by lying: Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Saini

During voting in Haryana, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Saturday accused the Congress of adopting a policy of looting the state by cheating the voters. Saini told reporters on the day of voting, Congress does politics of lies and loot and the people of Haryana have understood this.

They (people) have made up their mind to bring Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for the third time in Haryana. Saini was also among the first to vote. He reached the polling booth with his wife Suman and cast his vote in his native village Mirza in Narayangarh in Ambala district.

Voting for the 90-member Haryana Assembly began at 7 am on Saturday amid tight security and will continue till 6 pm. Saini is contesting from Ladwa in Kurukshetra district. Before casting his vote, Saini paid obeisance at Guru Ravidas temple and Gurudwara in his village.

Saini told reporters, “The people of Haryana have made up their mind, the BJP is going to form the government for the third time with an overwhelming majority.” He claimed that the BJP’s ‘double engine’ government had done the best work in 10 years. And farmers are happy with the policies of his government. Meanwhile, former Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar claimed that there is internal strife in the Congress.

He said that there is an atmosphere of despair in the Congress camp, there is anarchy. Asked about BJP leader Ashok Tanwar’s return to the Congress two days before the elections, Khattar said Tanwar has revived the politics of Aaya Ram Gaya Ram.
