Siddaramaiah told reporters after the questioning that everything went smoothly. A fake case was registered against me, but I told them the truth. They did not ask me to appear again. According to sources, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah was questioned in detail regarding irregularities in land allotment. Three officers led the interrogation, which was conducted with no set end time. As per the Code of Criminal Procedure, the entire interrogation was video recorded to ensure transparency.
The investigators asked a series of questions, which the Chief Minister answered only if he was knowledgeable on the subject, and avoided addressing those with which he was not familiar. Sources revealed that around six officers were actively working on the investigation. On his request the Chief Minister was not given any special treatment like an ordinary citizen. Although Siddaramaiah did not provide any documents during the session, follow-up questioning can be scheduled if necessary, for which he has already signed the consent.
