After clean sweep in Lok Sabha, BJP is ready for Delhi Assembly elections, party can bet on new faces.

After the tremendous success in the Lok Sabha elections held some time ago, the Bharatiya Janata Party is going to bet on new faces in the Delhi Assembly elections also. While the party had canceled the tickets of 6 MPs in the general elections, the BJP seems to be in a mood to sideline the candidates who are continuously losing in the assembly elections. BJP, which has been away from power in Delhi for more than two and a half decades, will decide its tickets on the basis of the changed caste equations of the capital. For this, BJP has started preparations on the basis of survey.
New faces may get a chance
Congress kept BJP away from power in Delhi in 1998. For the first one and a half decade, Congress kept it away and after that, Aam Aadmi Party kept it away from power in Delhi and BJP also had to lose the power of Delhi Municipal Corporation to AAP. Therefore, this time the party has started making election strategy in time to win Delhi. If reliable sources of the party are to be believed, BJP will bet on a large number of new candidates in this election race.
This time, the leaders who have been continuously losing in some assembly elections will be thrown out of the electoral fray and new faces will be given a chance. So some old veterans can also be fielded in the electoral battle. In preparation for the assembly elections, BJP has announced the state election committee and manifesto committee. An effort has been made to include all the prominent leaders of Delhi in it.
Caste equations changed in many seats of the capital
BJP is also keeping an eye on big leaders of other parties. In such seats where BJP’s position is weak, bets can be placed on outside candidates. In the survey conducted for the assembly elections, caste equations have been seen to have changed in many seats. On the basis of which BJP is making the election strategy and on the same basis the tickets of the candidates will also be decided. On the other hand, PM Modi has also been a supporter of new faces in politics, hence its impact can be seen in the Delhi Assembly elections.
Three AAP MLAs join BJP
Even before the date of assembly elections is fixed, all the parties in Delhi have started the politics of manipulation with publicity. Many old and veteran Congress leaders are joining the Aam Aadmi Party, while many Aam Aadmi Party MLAs and leaders are leaving their party and joining BJP. Till now, among the big names, Kailash Gehlot, who has been MLA and minister of Aam Aadmi Party, Rajkumar Anand and Kartar Singh Tanwar from Chhattarpur Assembly have decided to leave their party and follow the ideals of Modi ji. Now it remains to be seen how many more leaders join BJP by the time the election date is finally decided and whether BJP succeeds in gaining power in Delhi on the basis of these leaders.
