Acharya Satyendra Das, the chief priest of Ram temple in Ayodhya, has been admitted to the hospital after suddenly deteriorating. It is learned that he has brain hemorrhage and his condition is said to be critical. After deteriorating his health, Das was immediately admitted to Sri Ram Hospital in Ayodhya around 7 pm due to high blood pressure, from where he was first referred to Trauma Center and then at City Neuro Care Hospital in Lucknow.

After the CT scan, it was found that a blood clot has accumulated in about 17 places in his body and he had severe brain haemorrhage. Dr. Arun Kumar Singh, a doctor at Ayodhya’s Neuro Center, said that Acharya Das was brought in critical condition. After preliminary treatment, he was referred to Lucknow for further care due to his condition being critical. PGI of Lucknow said that his condition still remains critical.

His health deteriorated in October 2024 and was then admitted to Sanjay Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (PGI). Acharya Das was treated under the supervision of Dr. Prakash Chandra Pandey in the private room of PGI’s neurology ward. Professor RK Dhiman, director of the institute, had also told that Acharya suspected a neurological problem.
