‘When power becomes service, nation is built’, PM said on Rahul’s allegations, we live the Constitution

Responding to the motion of thanks to President Draupadi Murmu’s address, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that we have won the Constitution. He said that the streams in the constitution are also a spirit. Modi said that to strengthen the constitution, the spirit of the Constitution has to live. We are the people who live the Constitution. Modi said that when we came in 2014, there was no valid opposition. Nobody came with that much marks. There were many laws in India that we had complete freedom to work according to that law. There were also many committees in which the leaders of the opposition would come in it, but there was no opposition.

The Prime Minister clearly stated that it was our nature to live our constitution, we decided that even if there would be no valid opposition, but the leader of the largest party, we will call him in meetings. He said that when power becomes service, nation is built. When power is made a legacy, democracy ends. He said that we walk with the spirit of the Constitution, we do not do politics of poison. We keep the unity of the country paramount and hence makes the statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel ‘Statue of Unity. Which is the tallest statue in the world.
Narendra Modi said that for seven decades, Jammu and Kashmir-Ladakh was kept aside the rights of the Constitution. It was also an injustice to the Constitution and there was injustice to Jammu and Kashmir-Ladakh. We dropped the wall of Article 370. Now Jammu and Kashmir-Ladakh is getting the rights to the countrymen. We know the importance of the Constitution. We live the spirit of the Constitution, so we also make such strong decisions.
He lashed out at the opposition and said that talking about caste has become the fashion of some people. For the last 30 years, the MPs of the OBC Samaj, who have come to the House, were raising above the discrimination of the parties and demanding that the OBC commission be given constitutional status. Those who see cream in casteism today, those people did not remember the OBC at that time. We gave constitutional status to the OBC commission. He said that our constant effort is that every beneficiary should get 100 percent benefits of every scheme. But some people had made the model so that only a few people torture two others and do politics of appeasement. To develop the country, there will be freedom from appeasement. We have chosen the path- of satisfaction. Every society, people of every class should get their rights.
Modi said that the foreign policy was also discussed here at the time of discussion of the President’s speech. Some people feel that they do not seem mature until they speak foreign policy. They feel that foreign policy should be spoken, even if the country is lost. He said that I want to say to such people that if they are really interested in Foreign Policy and have to understand the Foreign Policy and have to do something ahead, then I will ask such people to read a book. The name of the book is JFK’s Forgotten Crisis. The book also describes the discussions and decisions between India’s first Prime Minister Pandit Nehru and the then President of America John F. Kennedy. When the country was facing a lot of challenges, then what was happening in the name of foreign policy is coming out through this book.

The Prime Minister said that after the President’s address, a woman could not respect the President, but what is being humiliated by saying what. I can understand political frustration but against the President… what is the reason. He said that those who talk about the Constitution do not have much knowledge, it is also a matter of misfortune. Very few people will know that Babasaheb Ambedkar’s vision was so clear, broad and inclusive about water plans in our country, which still inspires us today. More than 10 irrigation projects, which had been hanging for decades, we fulfilled them so that water reached the farmers’ fields.
