India has made extraordinary achievements in various fields

On 31 January 2025, the President of the country, Draupadi Murmu, in his address to the Joint session of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, in recent times, giving detailed information about the achievements made in various fields in India, said that “India’s India Today, my (Center) Government is giving new energy to this nectar of Vikas Yatra through unprecedented achievements. In the third term, work is being done at a speed three times faster. Today, the country is watching big decisions and policies apply at extraordinary pace. And, in these decisions, the poor, middle class, youth, women, farmers of the country have got top priority. ” In the said speech given by President Draupadi Murmu, an attempt has been made to explain in this article how various schemes for poor class, youth, mother power, farmers, etc. are being successfully run in India.
Today, special attention is being paid to the basic needs of common citizens along with bread, cloth and house as well as health and education. Concrete steps are being taken to provide housing facility to all families. It has been decided to give new houses to three crore additional families, expanding the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. For this, there is a plan to spend an amount of Rs 5 lakh 36 thousand crore. Similarly, 2 crore 25 lakh property cards have been issued so far under the ownership scheme with the objective of giving the poor to the poor in the village. Also, under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, an amount of Rs 41,000 crore has been paid to about 11 crore farmers in the last few months. The “Dharti Aba Tribal Village Utkarsh” campaign has started for five crore citizens of tribal society. A provision of eighty thousand crore rupees has been made for this. Today, the middle class is also being given subsidy on loans to buy houses/flats and by making laws like RERA, security has been given to the middle class’s own house dreams.

Ayushman Bharat Scheme is being run with the aim of providing health services to the citizens of the country. Now under this scheme, it has been decided to give health insurance to 6 crore senior citizens aged 70 years and above. Health insurance of five lakh rupees will be provided to these senior citizens every year.
Special attention is being paid by the Central Government today to create new employment opportunities for the education of the youth and their new employment opportunities. PM Vidyalakshmi Yojana has been launched to provide financial assistance to meritorious students in higher education. One crore youth will also be given internship opportunities in top five hundred companies. A new law has been implemented to prevent paper leak incidents and ensure transparency in recruitment. The government has approved the proposal to establish ‘Tribhuvan’ Cooperative University, following the spirit of prosperity from the right.
When the benefit of the development of the country starts getting to the person standing on the last rungs, only then the development is meaningful. The empowerment of empowerment that is produced by the poor, helps them to fight poverty. 12 crore toilets built under Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, 10 crore gas connections given free under Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala scheme, 80 crore needy people like ration, Saubhagya Yojana, Jal Jeevan Mission have given assurance to the poor that they have assured the poor with respect Can live Due to similar efforts, 25 crore people of the country are moving forward in their lives today by defeating poverty. They have created a group of Neo Middle Class, which is filling India’s growth with new energy.
The Udaan scheme has fulfilled about 1.5 crore people flying in airplanes. In Jan Aushadhi Kendra, 80 percent of the drugs are available at concessional rates, more than 30 thousand crores of countrymen are left. The middle class has benefited a lot of increase in the number of seats for the education of every subject.
The Central Government has approved an amount of Rs 70,000 crore to add twenty five thousand settlements in the fourth phase of the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana. Today, when our country is celebrating the year of birth of Atal ji, then the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana remains synonymous with his vision. Now 71 Vande Bharat, Amrit Bharat and Namo Bharat trains are running in the country, in which 17 new Vande Bharat and one Namo Bharat train have been added in the last six months.
In the coming time, half of the country’s population in the economic development of the country, that is, the contribution of mother power will have to be increased. More than 91 lakh self -help groups are being empowered under the National Rural Livelihood Mission. More than 10 million women of the country have been associated with it. They have been distributed more than a total amount of more than nine lakh crore rupees through bank linkage. The central government has set a target of making three crore millionaires in the country. Today, more than one crore 15 lakh millionaires Didi are leading a dignified life. Of these, about 50 lakh millionaires have been built in the last 6 months. These women are contributing to their family income as an entrepreneur. Insurance Sakhi Abhiyan has also been launched a few months ago with the spirit of insurance for all in India. Banking and Digi Payments are playing an important role in connecting people with financial system in far -flung areas. Agricultural stories are promoting natural farming and the livestock of the country is getting stronger through animals. Today, a large number of women are flying fighter aircraft in India, are being admitted to the police and also leading corporate companies. Today, the recruitment of girls has also started in national military schools. The recruitment of women cadets has also started in the National Defense Academy.
In the last decade, initiatives like Make in India, self-reliant India, Startup India, Stand-up India and Digital India have provided many employment opportunities to the youth. In the last two years, the government has provided a record number one million permanent government jobs. A package of two lakh crore rupees has been approved by the Central Government for better skills of youth and new opportunities. The arrangement of internship for one crore youth will give youth experience to work on the ground. Today there are more than 1.5 lakh startups in India which are emerging as a column of innovation. Venture Capital Fund has also been started in the space sector at a cost of one thousand crore rupees. Today India has reached the second place in the world in the QS World Future Skill Index 2025. That is, India is showing way to the world in adopting AI and digital technology in the Future of Work category. India’s ranking in the Global Innovation Index has also improved from 76 to 39. All this is being possible only by the trust of Indian youth.
Today, modern education system is being prepared for students through National Education Policy in the country. No one is deprived of education, hence education opportunities are being given in mother tongue. Language obstacles have also been removed by conducting various recruitment examinations in thirteen Indian languages. Atal tinkering labs have been opened in more than ten thousand schools to promote innovation in children. One Nation-One Subscription Scheme has been brought recently for “Ease of Doing Research”. This will enable the content of international research available for free. The number of higher educational institutions in India has increased in the last decade. Their quality has also been widely improved. QS World University – 163 universities in India have been involved in the Asia rankings. Inaugurating the new campus of Nalanda University, India’s old pride has been brought back in education.
In the creation of developed India, research along with farmers, young and science as well as research has great importance. India has been targeted to make India a global innovation powerhouse. The National Research Foundation has been set up at a cost of fifty thousand crore rupees to promote research in educational institutions of the country. Innovation in science and technology is being promoted under the “Vigyan Dhara Yojana” at a cost of Rs 10,000 crore. The “India A I Mission” has been started by furthering India’s contribution to the field of artificial intelligence. With the National Quantum Mission, India will be able to make a place in the world’s leading countries in this Frontier Technology. Bioe3 Policy has been brought in the country with the aim of promoting “bio -manufacturing”. This policy will be the architect of future industrial revolution. The purpose of bio -economy is to make efficient use of natural resources efficiently, which will create new employment opportunities while preserving the environment.
Small traders in India, from village to cities, accelerate economic progress everywhere. The central government is giving new opportunities for self -employment to small entrepreneurs as the backbone of the economy. Credit guarantee schemes for MSME and e-commerce export hubs are promoting all types of industries. Crores of small entrepreneurs have benefited from increasing the limit of currency loan from ten lakh rupees to twenty lakh rupees. The central government has made credit access easier. This has made financial services democratic. Today products like loans, credit cards, insurance are becoming easily accessible to everyone. For decades, the siblings who have been living a livelihood by setting up shop on the street vendor of India remained out of the banking system. Today they are getting the benefit of PM Swanidhi Yojana. Based on digital transaction records, they get more loans to increase business. ONDC system has made the system of digital commerce i.e. online shopping. Today, small businesses in the country are also getting equal opportunity to move forward.
