After President Donald Trump’s return to power, the tariff war between the US and China has intensified. The Chinese Embassy in the US reacted to Trump’s tariff on the Phentenel issue, saying that if the Washington War wants, Beijing is ‘ready to fight till the end’. It has come in the midst of a kind of trade war in which the two countries have imposed duty on imports from each other. The embassy on X wrote that if the US really wants to resolve the Fentaneel issue, it is right to consult with China by treating each other equally.

The embassy clearly stated that if the US wants war, whether it is tariff war, business war, or any other type of war, we are ready to fight till the end. Meanwhile, the Chinese Foreign Ministry described the Fantenal issue as a ‘weak excuse’ to increase the US tariff on Chinese imports. The ministry spokesman said in a statement that China’s retaliation to protect the rights and interests of the country was completely valid and necessary.
At the same time, US President Donald Trump criticized high charges by other countries including India and China and termed it as “extremely inappropriate”. Trump also announced that retaliation would be imposed from next month. The President presented his stand on retaliation and said that they will be set up from April 2. He wants to impose the same duty on imports from other countries, which the countries they put on exports from the US.
