A woman survived in the attack told on the phone that my husband was shot in her head, while seven other people were also injured in this attack. The woman did not reveal her identity, but pleaded for help in taking the injured to the hospital. Police said at least 12 tourists were injured in a shootout by unknown terrorists at a tourist resort in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday.
Giving information, a senior official said that after hearing the sound of firing, the Indian Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police Pahalgam Tourism have reached the Basaron grasslands of the city. The search operation is also on. He said that the terrorist attack took place in the Basaron meadow, which could only be reached from foot or ponies, where a group of tourists went to visit this morning. Officials said the officials sent a helicopter to evacuate the injured. He said that some of the injured were lowered from the grasslands on their pony by the locals. A doctor at Pahalgam Hospital said that 12 injured tourists have been admitted there and all of them are in stable.
