More than 26 people have died in a terrorist attack on a tourist attack on a tourist destination known as ‘Mini Switzerland’ near Pahalgam city of Kashmir. In an interview given to Pakistan’s Live 92 news channel, Asif made this comment when Prime Minister Narendra Modi has returned to the country after leaving his high-profile visit to Saudi Arabia after killing 28 people at Basaron Maidan near Pahalgam. Although New Delhi has not yet officially raised a finger on anyone, Asif has started a counter attack. He insisted that Pakistan has nothing to do with this. There are revolutions from Nagaland to so -called Indian states from Nagaland to Kashmir, Chhattisgarh, Manipur and the south. These are not foreign intervention action, but local rebellions.

The statement is completely different from New Delhi’s long-standing stance that unrest in cross-border terrorism, especially from Pakistan, promotes unrest in Jammu and Kashmir. However, Asif reiterated his point and said that these people are demanding their rights. Hindutva forces are suppressing minorities, Christians, Buddhists, Muslims and people are reacting to it. Asif tried to change the story by accusing India of interfering in Pakistan’s internal affairs, amidst the rise of emotions after the attacks targeted by unarmed tourists.
